Until Next Year...

Today was a good day for me. I actually finished my requirements, yay! I was a little nervous that i wouldn't have a morning OR afternoon pt. I was supposed to see my little twin cousins, but they ended up not being able to come at the last minute so i called my sister-in-law late last night and asked if i could see her son because i was in need of a little body! I got to see my cutest "yiddo" (little) nephew Dexter!! That's how he says little and it makes me laugh every time! Anyway, he was easy like kids usually are. He's pretty dang cute and was loving all the attention from the hygiene girls! It was nice to be done a little early and relax for a couple hours!

Afternoon was looking a little sketch till about 12:45. Melissa the sweetheart was willing to share her CL.III with me. I just needed one more quad for requirements. She and i had both tried numerous times to confirm the pt but never got ahold of him. Thank goodness he came, just a little late! He is a super nice guy...i don't know that he's ever had a cleaning before, but if he has---dang---that's some tenacious calculus! He understands enough english to get by. After i finished and was standing at my computer getting his paperwork printed, he started to make small talk and tell me a story. His accent was so strong i couldn't understand a thing he said! I just kinda nodded and smiled at him and he smiled back. Not sure what i just agreed to, but he seemed happy with it! ha ha ha. Anyway, we finished the day with one last pod-wrap from THE Jeffrey Shane Perry and the new goatie he was sportin! We got a few last laughs in before the day was over. I liked our instructors a lot this semester and am actually pretty sad for the change. Hopefully the Tuesday crew will live up to Thursdays! Thanks guys!
